In The Wild Camping 2011
On a small warm lake in the foothills of the Sierras we found our place of tranquility. Swimming, Canoeing, Hiking, and circling the campfire for warmth at night. A long weekend utopia!

Nomad's Notes
Our first camping trip happened mostly as a result of the enthusiasm and initiative of Kris and Mari who had done many naked camping trips themselves over the years. Finally doing it with a group was their dream come true. Kris and I discussed many possible locations and did some scouting as well. Finding the right place for this kind of event is difficult. One obviously needs some privacy but locations that would provide true privacy would be too difficult to get to. Ideally you want to be able to drive up, unload and not have to drag all your stuff too far. In this case the location was not too far from a major highway but it did require some driving on bumpy back roads to an ad hoc parking area. From there several canoe trips were necessary to get everything across the small lake. There were a few other textile campers spread around the lake, even out here, but no one bothered us.
