Red Rock Beach 2009

This small beach is north of San Francisco, off highway 1 just before Stinson Beach. The group arrived at the top of the beach to find the coast in a dark blanket of fog. So we found an inland trail nearby and explored a small river for a while. When the sun came out we drove back to the beach and spent the afternoon at this very rocky location with plenty of nooks and crannies to explore. This day, many in the group had some gymnastic training, which showed in the way they expressed their fun.

Auburn American River Hike 2009

This is our second trip to the American River, northwest of San Francisco. This time we follow the well-worn path south to see what other random spot we can find. We come across a small waterfall shooting out of the hillside. Then we continue until we find the perfect spot, a small beach and quiet lagoon. On the other side of the rocks is deep water and a ledge to jump from. This was indeed an idyllic nudist day.
